The Greater Toronto Home Builders’ Association
and the Urban Development Institute/Ontario have launched a fundraising
drive to assist those affected by the natural disaster in
Southeast Asia. Funds are being targeted to the Canadian
Red Cross.
$75,000 raised in two hours
Thanks to the initiative of Eddie Weisz at
Paradise Homes, we are pleased to announce that the first
$75,000 was pledged before we could even make the announcement.
Thanks very much to Century Grove Homes, Conservatory Group,
Diamante/Millwick, GTHBA, Heathwood Homes, Paradise Homes,
Tribute Homes and Yorkwood Homes for their initial sizeable
donations of $10,000.

ACT NOW!
We are calling on all members of both organizations
to join in the cause, if you have not already done so. Whether
you are a builder, developer, renovator or associate member
of either association, we have all enjoyed several prosperous
years and if there was ever a time to give something back,
it must be now.
Please make cheques payable to the Canadian
Red Cross/ Southeast Asia appeal and forward them ASAP to
the attention of either Stephen Dupuis at GTHBA or
Neil Rodgers at UDI. Please let Stephen, sdupuis@gthba.ca
, or Neil, nrodgers@udiontario.com,
know by e-mail of the amount of your pledge, so we can answer
media enquiries with the most up-to-date information.
THANK YOU!
